Sometimes life seems like it’s just one storm after the other. We are faced with so much that we get bogged down worried and depressed. It is so easy to get this way when we focus on the problem(s) instead of the Promises of God’s word. My Dad often said that the Lord promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us. This fact is easier to remember when we are not in the midst of the storm. When all hell has broken loose in your life often the last thing we think about is the promises of God. When in fact that is the first thing we should remember.
When the very demons of hell have been dispatched to attack you no matter whether through sickness, financial problems, marital problems, loss of job, loss of loved one(s), mental problems, emotional problems, whatever or whenever we face problems in life we must pause for a moment pray then focus on the promises of God’s word. Let’s read this scripture text again No weapon that is formed against you shall be blessed; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. Now weapons can come in various forms as we have mentioned whether from man or from satan and his demons.
When facing life’s various situations, we must remember that we have an inheritance as servants of an all knowing and almighty God. A God that Loves us and cares for us so much so that when all of mankind was faced with an eternal death sentence he sent his only begotten son to die for you and I. Sometimes the best thing to do when we’re faced with problems instead of trying to fix themselves ourselves is simply be still. God sees and he’s know what we’re going through. When we can’t fix it God has already provided a solution all we have to do is patiently wait on it to manifest itself. (Psalms 46:10 MKJV) Be still, and know that I am God! I will be praised among the nations, I will be praised in the earth.
