(Mat 24:44) Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.
I have not blogged in quite a while a lot has been going on. There have been things on my mind that I may write about in the future. However something happened recently that motivated me to pause a moment and write. As is my daily routine recently, I went walking. I am in a new neighborhood so I encounter people that I have never seen before. Starting my walk much later than normal that day I hit the street at a pretty rapid pace. As I was walking, I noticed a woman in the distance walking very slowly. As I approached her, I greeted her and she responded in kind. I kept walking and once I reached the end point of my walk I turned around and headed back.
I noticed the woman had turned around also and she was slowly heading back in the same direction. As I passed her, again, I once again exchanged pleasantries and she responded in kind. I slowed down and she asked me a question I cannot remember what it was but we both exchanged the reason why we walked. I told her how I started walking over 20 years ago when I was struck with Fibromyalgia. How through prayer, walking, and lifestyle changes it was almost completely gone now. She told me how she had broken a vertebra, which led to her needing to walk. I shared words of encouragement with her and as we approached an intersection I informed that I was going straight and to have a blessed day. As I was, about to cross the street she turned then looked at me and asked, “Do you think he’s coming”?
I shared with her what I have shared with anyone when the topic comes up. I truly believe that our Lord’s return is close much closer than most think. People will tell you that they have been saying that for years. Our scripture text lets us know when people think he is not coming that is when he is going to return. I for one will be glad when he comes just think about it no more suffering, no more sickness, no more death, and no more pain. If you are a believer in Christ there is nothing in this life that can remotely compare to what God has prepared for you. If you don’t know Jesus now is the time to get to know and accept as Savior and Lord of your life.
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.(John 3:18) He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. I believe that He’s Coming and Coming Soon!!!! What about do you believe he’s coming? Do you know him? Does he know you? Be Encouraged and Blessed Minister Mike.
