(Rev 21:5) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Once again a New Year is upon us and many of us will make New Year’s resolutions. Some will be broken months, weeks, days, even moments after they are made. Each year that we are blessed to see is another opportunity for a fresh start. Nothing compares to the start of a New Year no matter what problems we faced the year before just making it to a New Year brings renewed hope for better things. While it is an awesome blessing each New Year we are blessed to see. We must learn to embrace each day as a gift from God because it is. It is also important to appreciate every millisecond that we are blessed to be alive. (Lamentations 3:22) It is by Jehovah’s kindnesses that we are not destroyed, because His mercies never fail. (Lamentations 3:23) They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Each day is a gift from God a gift that none of us deserve. If 2014 was a tough year because of sickness or finances, marital problems, financial problems, or whatever. We should realize that no matter what you are going through God wants better for you and he holds the answer to all of your problems. Things may be tough they may be difficult but nothing is too hard for God and as I stated he wants much better for you. He wants much better for us than we can even imagine. Believe that, embrace that, carry that thought with you throughout each day you are blessed with life.
Our scripture text tells us of a time that’s soon to come a day that every Christian should be looking forward to. Each new day, new week, new month, and New Year draws us closer to a day that has been coming from the time Jesus ascended to the Father. There is a day coming when all sickness, pain, and suffering will cease. There will be no more New Year’s Day because time itself will be no more. What a time that will be when we meet our savior face to face I’m looking forward to that day no more sickness, no more suffering, no more pain, and no more death. Talking about a New Day as the Saints used to say years ago “What a time” “What a Time”. (Rev 21:1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is.(Rev 21:2) And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband. (Rev 21:3) And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. (Rev 21:4) And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.(Rev 21:5) And He sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.
As we have been blessed with a New Year let us take advantage of each opportunity to share the Good News. There is a Great Day coming a day like none other a day when God will recreate all that he has created A New Heaven a New earth. I’m so looking forward to that day no more sickness, no more suffering, no more pain, and no more death. As I stated before “What a time, what a time, what a time”. I’ll be reunited with friends and loved ones who have gone on before me. I’ll see the risen savior the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Embrace each day that you are Blessed with Life it is such a precious gift. Know that God loves you, he cares for you, and he wants only good for you and not evil. He sent his son to die for all of humanity and he’s on his way back. Are you ready for his return? What are you going to do with the Blessing of a New Year? Jehovah bless you and keep you. Jehovah make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. Jehovah lift up His face to you and give you peace. And they shall put My name upon the sons of Israel. And I, I will bless them (Numbers 6:24-27) Be Encouraged and Blessed Happy New Year Minister Mike.
