What God Has Joined Together (Friends and Aquaintances)

(Proverbs 27:9)  Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of one’s friend by advice from the heart.

Whenever we hear those words “What God Has Joined Together” we instantly think of marriage. However when we do that we fail to remember that God places people in our lives in various capacities. When Jesus sent out the disciples he sent them out in pairs for companionship as well as support for one another. They also shared responsibility for spreading the message and other assignments that Jesus had given to them.

Sometimes there are people placed in your life by God for a purpose God has joined you together it could be one person or even a group of people. Don’t just take it for granted when you meet people there are times that God has placed them in your life. We need to always be prayerful as to why we have met certain people. God sends us people sometimes they are meant to help us other times we are to help them and then there are times that someone is to help us and we are to help them also. There should always be caution when people enter our lives because just as God sends us people so does satan.

Satan will send us people that will help keep us down, they’ll use us, betray us, and bring us nothing but problems and sadness. God sent people will help build us up, lend us a hand sometimes literally provide physical help for us. God sent people will be a pleasant addition and asset to our lives. They will bring joy, peace, and happiness because there are times that we need that human touch or the voice of support. Look at our text again (Proverbs 27:9) Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of one’s friend by advice from the heart. Be prayerful and mindful of those around you and those you meet because they may be a God sent blessing to help you through a certain time and season in life. They could be a mentor, a friend, confidant, all of the above Be Encouraged and Blessed Minister Mike.
